Professional career
He played the role of Shyam Madan Singh in the network show Balika Vadhu on Colors TV. He starred alongside her co-star Vibha Anand in Balika Vadhu, which was a Vijay. He later played the lead role in Nikhil Sinha and Rakesh Paswan’s Baba Aiso Varr Dhondo, NDTV Imagine on Murali, Bharti’s husband. He has starred in Disney Channel India’s Dhoom Machao Dhoom, Star Plus’s Kahaani Hum and NDTV Imagine’s Dharam Veer in the role of Dharam. Vikrant featured Ayan Ahmed Khan in Zee TV’s series Qubool Hai after suppressing Rishabh Sinha.
Massey made her Bollywood debut in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Lootera (2013) alongside Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha. His first lead role was Konkona Sen Sharma’s first directorial adventure A Death in Ganj. The film gained basic recognition as his performance. Rajiv Masand portrayed his performance as real. He received the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for this performance.
